2021 Sauvignon Blanc

Our Sauvignon Blanc opens with fresh, bright citrus aromas with a clean mineral palate. Flavors of fresh lemon curd and candied pineapple abound, with the slightest hints of lime leaf and guava. This is our first release of Sauvignon Blanc. Our vineyard has two selections of Sauvignon Blanc, both sourced from the Eisle Vineyard, the classic Sauvignon Blanc selection providing the citrus zest aromas and mineral backbone, and the Musque selection providing more exotic tropical notes. We harvest the two clones together, send the whole clusters directly to the press, and press to tank. Aging in old french oak barrels provides a roundness and creaminess to the wine that the tank does not, but these barrels do not add flavor, preserving the pure expression of the vineyard.
